Winter in SK

Well I'm back from Christmas holidays and it was soo great to be home in Ontario for such a long period of time. I got to see pretty much everyone I planned and wanted to see with even a few exceptions of people I didnt expect to see. It was great.
I was loving the warm weather in Ontario (thanks to global warming) although I truly missed having snow to go toboggoning and having snow ball fights .
Im now back at Briercrest and I can tell Im back in Saskatchewan. As I was sitting here procastinating from reading I thought of you few ways I can tell I'm no longer in Ontario.
#1 when you look outside see you dozens of people sprinting from one building to the next not because they are eager to get to class but because if they don't they'll risk getting frost bite.
#2 I got excited today when I checked the weather network and it said it was only -31 outside with the windehield in comparison to it being -42 yesterday (no joke).
#3 I thought I had just chugged a giant slurpy yesterday on 2 minute walk home from the gym yesterday because my brain went into intense brainfreeze within less than a minute of being outside.
#4 I'm considering developing the discipline of fasting as Im trying to decide if it is really worth going outside after classes and chaple in order to eat lunch and dinner.
#5 My quadmate didnt make it back to school on monday becuase she got stranded in some lil saskatchewan town cause the roads were a complete white out and it wasnt even snowing (the beauty of no trees means crazy snowdrifts).
so yah im back and I love it! crazy eh? Sometimes when I go home I forget why I go to school so far away and then it only takes one day of being back to remember that this is where GOd has called me to be and I love it. I love the community of friends I have in this place and how God meets me here. THis is going to be my best semester yet as far as classes go. Im am soo excited about every class I am taking and I cant wait to see what God is going to teach me this year. Already I am being stretched spiritually, mentally, and physically and I know theres going to be a lot of changes in me this semester. God's warned me its going to be hard but I cant wait.
So much I could say but I really need to get back to reading. But I hope you guys have a great new year and Ill catch you all later
LEANNE
