Christmas in October?!
Hey Everyone, I had a great mod week last week. I was taking Career Youth min. I loved it as it was a small class of 17 students and my prof was absolutely amazing. I was really sad when it was over on Friday. My friend Shaina came up for that class and so I got to see her a lot which was super sweet cause I miss her like crazy (she was my quadmate my first year here). We definatly had a great time catching up and laughing and even almost crying sometimes. Saturday I went to my friend and mentor's house to help her set up and decorate her Christmas tree. It was so much fun cause I usually dont get to do that now that Im out at schoool. we put 600 lights on her tree. It looks amazing and definatly bright. It was a little weird settingup the tree when there was no snow outside but it looks like the snows coming and winter is right around the corner.
Last Tuesday I got to share a lil bit of my testimony at Joe's place bible study. some of us girl leaders took a bunch of the girls who dont normally come out for dinner then we went to bible study which was great to see these girls want to come.
Last night was a late night as my roomate and I stayed up talking to 3 am. but it was great! I made smoothies in my blender that I got a garage sale. There was definatly a reason why I only paid like $3 for it. It sounded like I was about to take off in a space shuttle or something. oh well. it was good half an hour later when it was finally done blending all the fruit.
well thats about all that is new in my life. nothing too extraordinary but its great.
i love you guys

Hi Leanne - do you remember me? It was fun catching up on your life! And actually it makes me miss Briercrest (even though I don't know who you are talking about when you are refering to anyone...except Shaina!) I'm glad to hear you are doing well though! Heidi and I are in Calgary and still living together. We will both graduate from SAIT in the spring, and are desparately looking forward to it!! (I feel like I am writing a novel here!) Dan and I are getting married in June too, so that is very exciting for us! Anyway, keep up your work with Joes and stuff...it's fantastic to read about what you are passionate about!
