Its due time for an update

Hey Everyone, Im so sorry that I have been horrible at updating my blog. I doubt any of you even check it anymore but oh well...Things have been going really well lately. I've been connexting with a lot of students in the highschool lately and its been really exciting getting to connect with them more. A couple weekends ago I went to Stoney Creek to visit my adoptive family from Caronport. It was the oldest daughters ninth birthday so I suprised her and had a great night just hanging out with her and her family. It was so great to be with them again.The next day I got the opportunity to go to "Today's Youth Conference" in Oakville. It was such a great conference that helped me put things in perspective with what I do at Lakeside. The things I learnt that Saturday have been so helpful and encouraging over the past 2 weeks.
Last weekend my friend Debra (from my first year at BBC) came up to visit for the weekend. It was soo awesome to hang out with her and for my family to get to know someone who is so dear to me. We drove across Haliburton county looking for something to do Saturday night but we ended up residing to having our own 90's dance party and watching "Hitch". It was definatly a lot of fun.
We got TONS of snow here in Hali...if any of you want some feel free to come take a dump truck loadfull. We have at least 3-4 feet of it and we're supposed to get more this week. Linds and I got nicely stuck on a snowmobile trail last week because the car sunk through like half a foot of ice and snow (it didnt look deep when we drove on it)...oppps...so yah..thats a story in itself...but we got towed out and became the town lunch hour entertainment to some snowmobilers..hehe...anways you would have had to have been there...thats about all that is new with me.
