I'm Alive!

So I'm sure if anyone even still checks out my blog you probably all think I've fallen off the planet or something, but don't worry Im not dead! Just busy! Life's been going really great since I last wrote. The month of September crawled by so slowly and I thought this year was never going to end up. but we're now at the half way part which means I get to come home soon!! I miss you all so much, although I am loving it here. I'm only taking 3 classes and a modular so it has been super great being able to have tons of time to get involved in different ministries here and also hang out with friends pretty much whenever they have time. Some of the ministries that I am involved in this year have been Saturday night I go to Joe's Place (which is a youth drop in center for inner city youth of moosejaw). Also on Tuesday nights I go to the Bible study for those youth who want to study and grow closer to God. Wednesday nights my friend Andria and I go into Moose Jaw to join some other Briercrest students and we walk and pray around Moose Jaw for God to break down the walls that are keeping the people there in spiritual bondage. (that has been such a blessing in my life and has brought me into a deeper relationship with Christ this year). Saturday mornings I go to a prayer breakfast at this older mans house across the street for me. THis year God has been teaching me so much about dying to myself and learning how to be disciplined in listening and being still before Him. God is defnatly growing me into a more intimate relationship with him and it is so beautiful. i love it. Last year I was definatly distracted from loving GOd with everything because I was placing Tony (xboyfriend) over the place where God was supposed to be. This has been a hard reality to recognize but God has forgiven me of that idolatry and I am so glad that God is so gentle and gracious in bringing us back to where we need to be with Him.
For Thanksgiving I went to WInnipeg with my friend Mel. I spent Friday night at her house in Marden and then Saturday my friend Lynnette came and picked me up and brought me to her house. It was sooo great to see her again (havent seen her since april 2005). We had so much fun getting lost in farmers fields and going out for Greek food in lil Italy and eating till we were about to burst. So much fun. We cooked our own turkey dinner on our own as her parents are in SOuth Korea teaching English. It was actually one of the best (if not the best) turkey dinners Ive ever had. soo good.
This coming week I am taking a youth ministry modular which I am anticipating should be really great. My friend Shaina is coming up for it and spending a night at my place which will be fun to catch up with her again. I wrote my one and only midterm today which I think hopefully went well.
Anyways thats about all the news in the praries. Nothing too exciting but its all good!! I love it here although I miss home a lot too! 2 months today actually and Ill be home!! WOOHOO!! I hope I get to see most of you when Im back for the few weeks of holidays. anyways i love you all and miss like crazy. ill upload some pics soon.
