Home Sweet Home

Hey Everyone,

I have been back home in Canada now for about 5 days and its been great. As much as I miss my team and my students it has definatly been a breath of fresh air to be home able to relax and rest.

While I was away my family moved into our new home. It is a beautiful house with so much peace and privacy. I love it there. I spent a few days unpacking and organizing my life but the rest of the week has been full of just sitting outside journalling and thinking over my trip.

Yesterday I saw a few my friends before they left on holidays and my friend Pip and my sister Linds and I had a girls night. It was a ton of fun just going to the carnival and getting cotton candy and going back to the house to look at pictures and eat chocolate fudge cake and watch a movie together.

A few days ago I was journaling about ray boltz song Thankyou and really grasped the one verse that says "one by one they came as far as the eye can see each one saw how touch by your generosity. lilttle things that you had done, sacrifices made, went unoticed on this earth in heaven now proclaimed." I finally think I guys understand what Jesus is talking about when he tells us we will be rewarded in heaven for what we do on earth. i used to often think how that it didnt seem right that we get rewarded for what we do if we're doing it for GOd. but now I get it. the more faithful we are as his children the more reward we will reap at his home because the reward is the lives that are changed. thats the only reward i will need.anything else will never equal as great of a reward. sorry if this has always been black and white for you but i just got the other day and thoguht I'd share my revalation.

anyways i am doing well. Im feeling great and im loving being home. i fly out in 8 days to go back out west. im in a friends wedding then the maid of honour and i are roadtripping it around montana and alberta. its going to be a lot of fun but im sad that my time at home is so short.

oh well im out like a fat kid playing dodgeball.
